| is a creative option for a group of friends or a special date, presenting Chef
Noguier’s cuisine and memorable wines without the formality or expense of an
entire meal at one sixtyblue. The brevity and affordability of the
events make them particularly well suited to the sophisticated and savvy, yet
often time-stretched community that works and lives around the loop. |
| |
| The Details: |
| |
Chef Noguier will offer a seasonally driven 6-bite tasting menu
to accompany the six wines poured. Wines will either reflect an entire
portfolio or a selection of different vintages all from the same winery.
-
A Cabernet may be paired with a single bite of crispy homemade gnocchi with
truffle oil, parmesan reggiano and Italian parsley
-
A Riesling may hold its own against an open face Capriole goat cheese with
mizuna salad, roasted walnut and fresh grapes
-
A Shiraz may find its foil in glazed fig with great blue cheese, port wine
syrup and roasted pine nuts
|
| |
| The menus are thoughtfully designed to reflect Chef Noguier’s respect for
artisanal cheese and the role it plays in coaxing every possible flavor from a
single wine.
|
| |
| The flights are meant to evoke the experience of a vineyard tasting room. To
that end, each 45-60 minute session (beginning at 6, 7 and 8 p.m.) emphasizes wine
education and exploration, with each featured wine available after the event
for $10 a glass.
|
| |
| It is fairly priced at $35 per person plus tax and gratuity.
